H&P: They will get a history and physical examination to confirm the diagnosis. In case of concussion, they will ask about how long you were unconscious, how long it took to come back to consiousness etc. They will check for any signs of brain damage. Some docs do concussion testing which is a computer test, they'll tell you everything about it should you qualify for this.

Concussion: Take a history, detailed neurological examination with special attention to the mental status examination. The doctor may decide to do a cat scan or mri. The imaging tests are optional.
