Pretty likely.: You need to get it seen, asap to get it cleaned out, tetanus prophylaxis, xrayed to be sure of what is / is'nt broken. They can also take care of your follow up & work status, etc.

Xray: Go to the er and be seen. If there are bones that are broken the wound needs to irrigated out in the or and repaired. You will need IV ax's and then antibiotics by mouth. Also check our tetanus status.

Get checked: With the gash we want to prevent an infection that may need stitches but need x-ray to see if broke anything in foot. Don't delay due to chance of infection.
