Discuss PT w/doctor: It sounds like you have some degenerative changes in your spine. It is not uncommon to see on x-rays; your doctor can tell whether it's significant or not. Straightening of the c-spine is generally due to muscle spasm. A physical therapist may be able to help with that.

Several: It is unusual for a 28 year old to have cervical arthritis unless significant trauma has occurred. The straightening indicates muscle spasm suggest physical therapy for the neck, judicious use of anti-inflammatory and pain medications and careful attention to posture and trauma avoidance. If symptoms persist you should see a rheumatologist as this may indicate the presence of inflammatory disease.
