I am on 3000 milligram tylenol daily... for mild to moderate osteoarthritis in multiple places cervical spine and the knees and the lower back... the only way i get relief chronic pain is with this regimen. do i need routine testing of liver function?

Not on 3 gms of: tylenol (acetaminophen). If you exceeded this amount daily,then your liver enzymes should be checked,but you are in the safe zone. Do not drink alcohol on this regimen

YES: YES any long term use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) requires monitoring of both liver and kidney function.
