No: Alcohol in any quantity is not 'good' for cholesterol; at best small amounts of alcohol are indifferent for your cholesterol status, and larger amounts or more frequent consumption actually promote excess cholesterol. Ask your doctor about your cholesterol levels and whether they need treatment with either a combination of diet and exercise or with medication.
