Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) side effect: While some of the side effects of Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) may lessen over a brief time period, others will persist, especially the change in personality, irritability and being more reactive emotionally. If your experiencing persistent side effects speak to your prescriber and ask about alternatives such as methylphenidate (ritalin, Concerta and generics).
