What is the best add medication for adults? i'm being told that adults shouldn't take adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and that's what i've been prescribed.

Individual Response: All of the medicines for adhd are helpful about an equal percentage of the time, especially the stimulant medicines, which are the most commonly used meds for adhd. As a result, it depends on how an individual responds to a specific med. There is nothing about Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) that would cause more potential problems than the other stimulant meds, so i would suggest you try working with it.
