Check with doctor: I would suggest that you check with your doctor and get a lung function test done. If it is totally normal, then he /she can discuss with you re. Your options.

Stay on your Advair: Advair is a chronic controller drug for asthma. It is extremely effective for the prevention of asthma. You need to stay on it continuously for it to work. You should check with your dr. Regularly to see if you are well enough to reduce (not stop) your asthma treatment.. Asthma is present in your lungs even when you are not in a flare up from a virus or allergen and needs treatment.

Months: The typical recommendation is to use a controller medicine that has started working for at least three months, but there may be different advice based on your particular condition. Many require the advair indefinitely. Ask your asthma doctor for your particular situation.
