Your choice: Symptomatic medications like Zyrtec are really only needed when you notice a difference in your symptom level. If the other meds control your symptoms, you can add it if there is a flare up or unexpected exposure. If you stop it & symptoms worsen you may need it.

Zyrtec as needed: Some people do need to take Zyrtec daily for nasal allergy symptoms or chronic itching. If the Singulair and Advair are controlling your asthma well, you may not need to take the Zyrtec daily, but can take it as needed, especially if you know you will be exposed to one of your known allergens. You should also discuss this further with your own doctor who knows you best.
