Medical marijuana: Your own physician is the one to consult first. There are particular conditions that may meet ma criteria, but depression and anxiety are not among them. It has its place but: Dr. Pappa's answer highlights an important point in that there are no scientific standards which qualifies a condition for mmj. The same website & different states list anxiety and depression as conditions qualifying for mmj. This lack of standard means lack of research which in turn means you should try safer and proven methods to treat your conditions rather than resorting to mind altering herbs.
