My doctor prescribed fluconazole for a yeast infection but i read its not recommended to take if pregnant. i'm 35 weeks pregnant.

Its ok: High dose Fluconazole should be used with caution, but single dose 150 mg are ok. But the discharge from being 35 weeks pregnant can cause the same symptoms as a yeast infection. Make sure your doctor actually checks for yeast and doesnt treat based solely on sypmtoms.

Not to worry: Most drugs are labeled category c meaning there may be hazards in non human species. Yeast medications have proven to be safe in pregnancy.
