Meds and sad mood: None of the medications listed could cause depression individually or together. Depression represents sadness, lack of energy, probable sleep disruption and failure to find pleasure in pleasurable things. It has been liked to chemical imbalance which is often responsive to medications called anti depressants, including the lexapro you mentioned. Lyrica (pregabalin) is often used for pain, trazadone for sleep.
