You may: You probably need to be seen at a pain clinic for additional treatment. The pain can last for months.

Variable: Post herpetic neuralgia can last a variable time from weeks to tears. Your Lyrica (pregabalin) dose is low. Have they tied an antiviral like valtrex. Zanother excellent option is the newer medication gralise.

Tough situation.: Dr anyanwu provides some advice regarding current management, and this is a workable approach. However, you are seemingly still on low dose lyrica, (pregabalin) and total daily dosing up to 600 mg per day may be needed., so this could be titrated upwards. If you have acute shingles, this may last only a few weeks and resolve, but you may require Lyrica (pregabalin) for several months. Hope you feel better.
