Low BP: Most dentist use anesthetic with Epinephrine to make the numbness last longer. It also will increase blood pressure + heart rate should some get into the blood stream while injecting. Please discuss the procedure with your dentist and have your BP checked by your md before proceeding with the jaw surgery.

Low blood pressure: Low blood pressure is a side effect that is very common with inhaled anesthetics. If jaw surgery is going to be performed under general anesthesia you will likely have an anesthesiologist taken care of you, which will be different from what you had during your minor procedure at the dentist office.
