Can't open jaw: After the dental procedure, the muscles around the jaw can get strained and cause pain. I could not be sure about what is going on without an examination. See a doctor

Injection: Dizziness and "overwhelming sensation" may be due to the rare occurrence of injection directly into a blood vessel. Pain and difficulty opening may be due to displaced jaw joint disc. Return to Dentist, or see different Dentist, for reevaluation. Discuss the concept of "aspirating syringe" with Dentist.
