Carpal tunnel: Up to 40% of adults develop symptoms of carpal tunnel at some time: pins/ needles/ asleep in the wrist and 1st - 3rd fingers that awakens them from sleep, aggravation when holding something in affected hand or doing repetitive movements. It usually heals itself; wearing a cock-up wrist splint nightly during sleep for up to 6 months improves chance of healing. Good luck!

Yes and no: With hand tingling you have to ask a few more questions. Is it tingling all day? Are you sleeping with your arm above your head, is your neck hurting? If you have tingling all the time, you may have a compressed nerve in your neck, or if its just your hand, it can also be carpal tunnel. You would need further evaluation to know for sure.

Possible CT Syndrome: If thumb and adjacent 2-3 fingers tingle then cts is most likely. You need EMG test.
