A member asked:

My heart rate will sometimes fall below 60 (54-60) when at rest, is this bradicardia or does it need to be below 60 all of the time?

Yes: Bradycardia is defined as a heart rate <60. The moment your hr drops to 59, you have bradycardia. There's nothing wrong with that, btw - it's often a sign of good health.

Heart rate: This is a bit too low, you should mention it to your doctor and get evaluated, I do not see that you are on any beta blockers, because these lower the heart rate. Also, are you an athlete? Athletic individuals may have a normal low heart rate.
