Too many calories: While exercise is good it comes down to calories in versus calories out. That is with a normal healthy person. For example walking 17 miles burns a pound of fat. You need to find calorie count for stair climbing. Probably don't do enough minutes of it to burn enough calories. 3500 calories in one pound of body weight.
