Use more cal/min: U r doing more work not only propelling ur self forward but u r also lifting ur body also, therefore using more energy and burning more cals. Just b careful, it also puts more stress across ur knees and esp patella-femoral joint. 5-7 is a good safe elevation, but if ur body tells u no, listen 2 it and lower the incline.
