At 37 yrs old i had an episode of a-fib after jogging on the treadmill. i take meds for high bp too. only thing i feel comfortable with is walking for exercise now and eating smart. is this reasonable?

Exercise : Walking is excellent exercise, should try and do at least half an hour, 3mi would be nice. Eating smart is always a good idea, the combination is great.....

Depends: Every case is different. Some blood pressure medications may also help prevent episodes of atrial fibrillation. Avoid caffeine and excessive alcohol intake. Check with your doctor.
