Some hormone is advisable at all times unless pregnant or trying to become pregnant in order to lower your chances of ovarian cancer. But many medication exist and the best way is to see a specialist.

Get a good doc: You really need a doctor experienced in endometriosis to help. A combination of excellent surgical therapy, physical therapy, and sometimes medications leads to the best outcomes.

Find endo-wise Gyn: Endometriosis has been long misunderstood. Find a gyn 1) who will listen,2) knows that endometriosis is laid down during when you were a 6-7 week embryo and 3) has the surgical skill to completely excise all the endometriosis even if it is near critical structures.
