Yes, ask REI.: Your questions are astute and complicated. Long story short: ivf hormones can make your endometriosis worse; Lupron (leuprolide) can help but not during ivf cycles; surgical extirpation of endometriosis before ivf best bet, if possible. Seek help from a reputable rei center in your area, take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck!

No: IVF treatment should not worsen endometriosis. IVF can often overcome the negative impact of endometriosis on fertility. Depo lupron (leuprolide) has not been found to improve fertility in women with endometriosis. It is however useful to control symptoms.
