Some ideas: 1) learn to say 'no' 2) avoid people who cause you high amounts of stress 3) lessen your to do list 4) avoid controversial, stressful issues 5) express your feelings instead of stuffing them inside 6) manage your time better 7) be more assertive learn some of these skills with a psychologist or therapist near you (locator.Apa.Org).

Stress Less: Ways to address stress. Talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation.
