Discontinuation Syn: SSRI Discontinuation sx’s usually begin 2 to 4 days after stopping med. They usually resolve within 1 to 6 weeks & may include: feeling like you have the flu, brain zaps, paresthesias, nightmares, insomnia, anxious or depressed mood, agitation, hyperarousal, mood swings, visual changes, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, headache dizziness, balance problems & decreased coordination.
