It needs attention: You may have a fracture, a loose filling, a cavity, or a non-vital nerve. None of these can be diagnosed over the internet, sight unseen. Call a local dentist for an appointment and have it evaluated.

Pulpitis: It means the nerve inside the tooth is irritated. See your dentist for an evaluation.

May be cracked tooth: It sounds like a 'cracked tooth'. Please find a dentist for an x-ray, exam , and diagnosis. It can get much worse, so don't delay.
