Cystic acne: Sometimes acne needs treatment with stronger medicines or a combination of therapies. Deeper blemishes, such as nodules and cysts, are more likely to leave scars. As a result, your doctor may give you oral antibiotics sooner to start the healing process. Other forms of therapy include oral Isotretinoin which is the strongest acne medication.

Dermatolgist consult: You definitely need to see a dermatologist who sees a lot of acne. You probably will need multiple therapies. Without seeing you and knowing what you have tried it's hard to say. Oral and/or topical antibiotics and Accutane are good options. Good luck!
