Exposure to ultraviolet radiation is a major risk factor for developing skin cancer. The more you tan the more you are exposed to harmful ultraviolet radiation and the more you risk getting skin cancer.

Sunscreen : Sunscreen will not stop all if the ultraviolet radiation from reaching into the skin. The uvr that gets through will lead to tanning and sometimes burning . Remember there is no such thing as a safe tan. Tanning greatly increases your chances of developing skin cancer.
