I'm just wondering, if you have cancer and your doctors wont let you work can you apply for dissability?

Yes: If you are not able to work because of the cancer or because of the need to spend a lot of time undergoing cancer treatment (ie. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy), you can certainly apply for both short and long term disability. Most physicians are supportive of this as they understand the need for time to heal from all of the treatments.
