Oncologists: Radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and surgical oncologists mainly work with cancer patients. Cancer is not contagious, so we don't need to protect ourselves any more than usual.

They are called Onco: Oncologists are the cancer specialists who take care of patients with cancer. They do not need to worry about protecting themselves! from what? Cancer is not contagious. It is just like any other disease. I have spendt all my life taking care of patients with cancer...I am still alive and well!
