Oncologists: Radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and surgical oncologists mainly work with cancer patients. Cancer is not contagious, so we don't need to protect ourselves any more than usual.

Oncologists: Cancer doctors are oncologists. Surgical oncologists do operations for cancer, medical oncologists prescribe chemotherapy, and radiation oncologists give radiation treatment. Oncologists often work together in multidisciplinary groups.
