Food and Anxiety: I see you have been waiting a while, so i want to give you a few tips. The only food that i know of that reduces anxiety is herbal tea. However, there are foods to avoid to reduce anxiety. All foods and drinks with caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate) tend to make us tense. Processed sugars also may increase anxiety. (caffeine and sugar have been connected to panic attacks.
