Not Cancer: It is not cancer. I am sorry for your loss. May this loss lead you to a deeper empathy for others and to find people in your life that will help you fill that hole that is missing. Your weight loss is not cancer.

Anxiety/bereavement: I am sorry for your loss. If your doctor is booked try to get an appt with a bereavement counseler, social worker, psychologist. Of course follow up with dr. To make definitivey sure it is not cancer.

Anxiety: I'm sorry to hear about your loss & mother's passing but i suspect that your weight loss & anxiety is due to your grief reaction since blood work is normal. While anyone can get cancer, it's less likely to present itself coincident to your mom's passing w/normal labs & no other symptoms. Unless you have strong family history of breast, ovarian, colon or lung cancer etc, keep appt w/your doc.
