Clarification : Are you saying you have a rapid heart beat since you started the clonidine? If this is the case, tachycardia, or fast heart rate is a side effect.. You may want to talk with doc about switching to something else? Or maybe you were saying that you have a rapid heart rate and doctor was trying to treat that? Either way, best to talk to doctor and make sure it's the right agent for you.
