Fever: Fever is the body's response to infection or inflammation. The main reason for use of a fever reducer such as acetominophen or Ibuprofen is for comfort. If she is comfortable and not irritable no need to give the reducer. A lukewarm water bath can also reduce fever if you are concerned. She needs to be seen by her doctor if she is irritable, vomiting, not peeing or has diarrhea.
