Is it okay to use magnesium sulfate or laxative a few hours before drinking contrast for ct of abdo & pelvis. softeners & enema last night didn't work?

No problem.: It would be better if you take the Magnesium Sulfate and laxative the night before so the bowels can be as clear as possible of stool so you can have a better view of any pathology in the ct scan of your abdomen.
