Careful: You're already taking klor-con. If your labs are showing you have low potassium and you and your doctor decide it's in the best interest for you to take a supplement, you should take it. Iv Methotrexate can cause hypokalemia, but i don't know by your drug list if you receive it iv?

Probably not : Necessary, because of potassium sparing properties of drug. Ask your doctor when you should measure your potassium level again.
