Possibly: If you are taking a potassium supplement because you are being treated with a diuretic, upon adding losartan, you might not require continuation of the potassium supplement. Monitor potassium.

K and losartan: You will need to ask the physician who prescribed your losartan (l) that question. If you have chronic kidney disease (ckd), the answer may be "no". If you do not have CKD and are on a loop diuretic, the answer may be "yes". It is always better to ask questions to the physician who is treating you as the physician is more familiar with your case.
