No worry keep checki: There is nothing to worry but you have tendency for hypertension, which showed under some stress of dental procedures etc.You need to check your blood pressure at random and keep a record, if it keeps going up you need to be treated. Meanwhile i will recommend you cut down on salt in your diet, if you are overweight try to loose weight, do not smoke and make an appointment with your md to have an exam.

Not at all: It is either white coat hypertension or related to pain. You should not worry at all since this is this is a transient elevation due to excess release of the chemicals known as catecholamines . I advise you though just to check your blood pressure in your local pharmacy couple of times just in case

Anxiety: Can often cause ones BP to rise. Sadly dentists are feared by many. So it's not uncommon. If you are experiencing abnormal bps routinely then you need to check with your pcp. If this is an isolated incident, i wouldn't worry much. Hope this helps.

White coat syndrome: I have the same thing happen to me when i go to the physician. After they take it a few times and let me relax, it goes down. If you take it several times a day for a week and it is normal, i suspect that is what is going on.
