My big toe is turning in towards the 2nd toe but there is no bump on the side or pain. is this a bunion?

Hallux valgus: The term for the big toe leaning toward the second is hallux valgus. While this is often accompanied by a boney prominence on the inner aspect of the joint (bunion), it isn't mandatory. Early treatment can include splinting of the toe or orthotics. If pain arises, surgery is often recommended.

Most likely...: This is most likely a bunion. Seeing an orthopedist or podiatrist would allow for a more accurate answer. Best of luck!
