Multi: I recommend a multi and omega three for everyone. Most of us eat the same foods grown on the same soil. Ideally a diet with a variety of fruits and vegetables should have all the vitamins and minerals we need, but in many cases we dont have the variety and the products are not optimal.. A multivitamin is an insurance policy to not missing vital nutrients.

Yes , : All the required vitamins and mineral are present in a healthy balanced diet , if you are really eating such diet , which rarely happens as some component are always missing due to poor our dietary habits , results in deficiency that may lead to diseases , so best way to ensure is to take daily multivitamins and prevent related diseases

Not very. No.: Unless you have a know deficiency in all the vitamins in a multivitamin or have a very restricted diet, multivitamins are not necessary and can cause medical problems. If you have a specific known deficiency, then take that specific vitamin. Otherwise, save your money for more gym time, which would be better for your health.

Very helpful: The vast majority of Americans are deficient in essential nutrients and even the few who get the recommended daily intake of all still are likely getting suboptimal levels as most benefit from higher amounts than we get from our diet. Choose a good quality multivitamin. It can only help. See http://tinyurl.com/mzrkbx8 for an essay on this topic on my blog.
