Yes: Urethritis is inflammation of urethra. As such, it has several causes, most frequently urinary tract infection such as bladder or kidney infection. Sexually transmitted disease/infection are another common cause of urethritis. However, typical urine culture won't look for std/stis. You'll need separate testing for those bacteria & virus which cause std/stis.
