Not unusual: Ankle sprains may take several weeks -- not just 2 -- to heal. Did you have and xray, and are you sure it was only a sprain? Depending on the way your ankle twisted, various types of injuries can result -- including fractures. Icing, rest, and elevation can help true sprains the most -- if you haven't had an xray or medical exam, it would be wise to do that. Best wishes.

Not uncommon: Ice, elevation, wear ankle brace, compression is good, decrease salt in diet, take an antiinflammatory, consider physical therapy.
