Depends: Depends on the severity of diabetes. If ur blood sugar is relatively well controlled with appropriate diet (less carbohydrates like sugar and starch, more vegetables, etc.), & moderate daily exercise, ur diabetes might be controlled with a med like metformin alone. If not, you may need other oral or injectable meds. Blood pressure will need an ace-inhibitor but depends on kidney function. See doc.
