Diet, exercise and: Weight loss are good for both. Diabetes is diagnosed on the basis of your blood sugar and other lab tests; hypertension by checking your blood pressure. Your doctor can advise you and help with diagnosis and treatment for both. Many behavior modifications and treatments are available. More info can be found @ diabetes.Org and webmd.
