18 weeks today but baby 14 days behind. my doctor said my placenta might be causing the issue bc baby looked fine on ultra sound. will my baby be ok?

Other reasons?: Typically if a baby's growth is lagging and doctor thinks placenta is the cause there could be underlying reason why placenta is not working as well, such as high blood pressure, drug use, smoking, diabetes, renal disease, and many others. If your doctor told you, you have no risk factors and nothing to be worried about, then i would do just that... Try not to worry. Easier said than done.
