Your description is confusing. The placenta needs to be located in a position that does not block the transit of baby down and out the birth canal. The placenta provides the oxygen. If it blocks the exit it may deliver before baby who then has no oxygen supply during delivery. Please clarify the issue with the doc. A blocking placenta likely means a c-section at the first signs of labor.
