Ana+sed. Rate: There is no cause of concern for hct&mpv because they are normal at sea level. Border line low, from your lab reference for high altitude or chronic inflammation.Should be concerned about ana+ titer & sed. Rate high. Possible one of many connective tisue diseases. You have to see rheumatologist for dsdna, complement, crp, other antibodies. Minor change in CBC may be because of it. Good luck.

31 yo male, just started zocor in Jan, on eliquis. WBC 3.9, RBC 3.94, HGB 11.5, HCT 34, PLT 110, MPV 10.9, AST 50. No symptoms, found on yearly labs. What could be the cause of the low numbers and high AST? All other labs normal. Should I be worried?
