Lots of questions: Regardless of his or her speciality, the doctor will want to know much of the following at your first visit: reason you are there, details of your symptoms, your past health history, current and past medications, allergies to medications, habits (eating, smoking, drinking, exercise, etc.), family history, and previous hospitalization and surgeries, etc.

Assesment: The first visit to your doctor usually includes the basic history taken and physical exam with assessment and treatment of the acute problem (if you fave any). During the annual first physical exam physician might prescribe to you necessary vaccines if you need it by age, blood work +/-and follow up appointments.
