Lung cancer: Usually ther is no five year survivors. The actual time depends on the type of cancer and health status of the patient.

Depends: If it has spread from the bones to the lung, it is metastatic. Good survival rates have been seen with chemotherapy in conjunction with removing the lung metastases, if they are the only site of spread.
