Call a dentist: It's not a build up of blood that is causing the pain, it's the badly broken down tooth with damaged pulp or nerve of the tooth that's causing the pain. Call your dentist immediately, or at least during office hours, to have this looked at to determine what can be done to eliminate your extreme pain.

Infection: It sounds like you have an infection in your broken tooth. The build up that you feel i s not blood but inflammation from an infection. You need to see a dentist for examination and treatment. It will get worse without treatment.
