Are there treatment guidelines for menopause?

Depends: Traditional medical view feels if healthy and symptomatic you can use low dose hormones for 2-5 years max or do nothing. Age management docs believe as long as you r a good candidate you can use them with regular lab work & lifestyle changes to improve health. If more than 10years past menopause, HRT does not help. Review nam-north american medical society, acog, & age management viewpoints.
